We had a wonderful waitress who had great spunk and personality and told us at one point when we were seated outside but wanted to move inside not to worry because she was in charge here.
We had a great time today, joined by Sal's ma Jean and upon arrival noticed another brunch club guest Mark "tossie' was already brunching at Mint. What a coincidence especially since the last time we came here Mark was one of our guests.
Many belly laughs as usual especially when Brad, who has been made vice principal of Wesley college at Sydney University (we now call him 'vice toss'), described how he had an invitation to the official Sydney University opening ceremony dinner for 2012 and as he started to describe the pomp and circumstance of such an event I cheekily asked; 'Is it part of the Mardi gras festival?'
We had a bit of a shocker with the quiz this morning. Missed some sitters like 'Who was born Margaret Hilda Roberts' and we had just been talking about 'The Iron Lady' film. Also see Jean's comment below for the other question we missed. Only 11/15
ANDREW SAYS: 5 GOLDEN EGGS Love it. Have loved it ever since my cousin Sophie Harper introduced me to this place maybe about 10 years ago. The scrambled eggs with fetta and mint was so delicious
SAL SAYS: Loved the waitress
BRAD SAYS: He's gone already on vice toff duties and to prepare for his big ceremony.
JEAN SAYS: Why didn't anyone listen to me when I told them Israel was the country which offered Einstein a Presidency in the 50s.
